7 beach clubs to enjoy the summer in Salvador

Exuberant nature, delicious food and drinks, and cozy environments in the city’s hottest destinations

Some say that it is the light here that makes everything more beautiful, others say that the water temperature is the big difference, or the unforgettable look of the coconut trees contrasting with the color of the sky and the sea. The truth is that the beaches of Salvador are for all tastes: with waves; no waves; with natural swimming pools; busy; and calm. If you still have doubts where to enjoy the sunniest and happiest season in our country, choose the heat, choose Salvador.

To open the hottest season of the year, Visit Salvador da Bahia has prepared a list of seven clubs and beach restaurants for you to enjoy the summer in big style. They are excellent places to go with groups of friends, family, or to relax and forget about life. Experience a day of comfort with your feet on the sand, contemplating nature, enjoying water sports and good cuisine.

1. Lôro Flamengo Beach

The beach cabanas and restaurants in Salvador are places that look like big houses, with excellent structure, comfortable lounge chairs, tables and chairs for groups of friends or families.

The Lôro restaurant in Flamengo Beach is a true oasis by the sea. The structure with tables and chairs is just a few steps from the beach, and in addition to the invigorating sea water, the house also has massage therapy, a children’s area, Wi-Fi, showers and a lounge.

The restaurant offers a great choice of international cuisine. Our suggestion is the “Vermelho Curado”: whole vermelho fish, cured, grilled and served with garlic rice and crunchy dry shrimp farofa with banana da terra and spices from the garden.

It’s a lovely environment, all decorated with antiques and handicrafts. The tables are beautifully set, everything prepared with great care to receive customers. The dishes are very beachy, the type you want to eat when you’re by the sea. The most popular is the vermelho fish, baked in a sauce of butter and lemon, in the oven, with banana da terra, palm heart and cheese farofa.

What makes the tour even better is that Ponta de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe beach, where Restaurante da Preta is located, is one of the five Blue Flag beaches in Brazil, an international symbol of preservation.
