Salvador is always closely associated with Carnival and the many parties that the city offers throughout the year. However, many people have chosen the capital of Bahia as the perfect destination to go with the whole family. After all, a family vacation trip is always a great opportunity to take children and teenagers to discover new places.
However, taking a trip with children requires a little more organization. The ideal place is one that has, in addition to good service, entertainment for these energetic little creatures. With that in mind, we have prepared tips for 04 experiences in Salvador to enjoy with the kids.

1 – Salvador Beach Club

Salvador Beach Club is a beachfront location that offers pools and toys for children and their guardians, integrating the water club with the beach. It is a space that guarantees fun for the whole family, with tables and gazebos in front of the sea.

The pools and water toys are the main attractions. A wristband allows free transit between the beach and the club. For those who prefer to stay on the beach, Salvador Beach Club offers food and beverage services by the sea, where you can sit at one of the 10 available tables with umbrellas. 2 – The largest urban park of dunes, lagoons and restinga vegetation in Brazil

The city keeps true environmental treasures in its territory. Parque das Dunas, in Salvador, is the largest urban park of dunes, lagoons and restinga vegetation in Brazil. A complex of six million square meters based on sustainability, focused on preserving the ecosystem of dunes and restinga vegetation within the city of Salvador, being the last urban source in the country in this category. The white sand mountains can be seen from above, from the viewpoint. The tour involves education, environment and ecotourism, in addition to exuberant flora and fauna.

You will come across several species of insects, birds, amphibians and reptiles. Yessss!!! There are a variety of snakes, spiders, frogs, owls and lizards. But don’t worry! It’s all very safe, with a team of guides who make interpretive trails, explaining everything. The Park has an excellent support structure for visitors and researchers, with an auditorium, classrooms, a composting center, a restinga garden, a worm farm, a library and a recreational square. 3 – Bike ride and sea bath

Salvador’s cycling network has increased. In the last few years, it has gone from 38 km to 310 km*. Spaces for cyclists are spread throughout the Bahian capital, what is good for getting your body moving and for those who want to enjoy the incredible landscapes of the city while cycling.

Outdoor life is part of everyday life for those who live in the Stella Maris neighborhood. Now, one of the most beautiful stretches of waterfront is becoming more modern, accessible and can now be enjoyed by visitors and tourists. The new seafront area is beautiful, going all the way to Praia do Flamengo. Starting the day there is an excellent idea. Take the opportunity to bike along the bike path or a walk along the boardwalk.

If you are making a tour with a group of friends or family, it is good to go to the soccer field or the sand volleyball court. The new waterfront also has space for a picnic, and the kids will love the park and the children’s skate park.

In this same area, in front of the kiosks, there is a large formation of natural pools during low tide. Stella Maris and Flamengo are in one of the most environmentally preserved locations on the coast of Salvador, with a large cover of restinga vegetation. After having fun on the bike path or boardwalk, keep an eye on the tide. If it’s low, the suggestion is to enjoy the natural pools that are formed in the region.

04 – Beach clubs

Salvador is a solar city, with a coastline full of beautiful beaches and good options for outdoor programming. Beach clubs are perfect for the families that need space and security for the kids, or for groups of young people who want to have fun, eat good food and take lots of photos. It is also ideal for those who want to relax feeling the breeze and listening to the sound of the waves. These seaside places look like big houses, with a sophisticated restaurant structure and some even with lounges.

Some clubs offer a differentiated range of services, such as massage therapy, children’s space, wi-fi, showers and a lounge that allows you to enjoy the beach and have some delicious drinks or a cold beer to the sound of good music. Discover 07 seaside paradises in Salvador in this link.
