Taking a trip with a child requires a bit of organization. The ideal place is one that has, in addition to good service, entertainment for these energetic little beings. If you’ve ever wondered which restaurants, bars and spaces in Salvador are good to take children out to enjoy safely, this itinerary is for you. It’s important for parents or guardians to be able to take advantage of the city’s places even though they have little ones to take care of, isn’t it?

Therefore, Visit Salvador da Bahia brought together 15 places that have structures, with children’s playgrounds and monitoring, for example, so that you can leave home and enjoy the Bahian capital alongside the children.

Beach Club Salvador is a beachfront location that offers swimming pools and toys for children and their guardians. It is a space that guarantees fun for the whole family, with tables and gazebos facing the sea.

2. Picuí

The Picuí restaurant offers Northeastern meats such as lamb, besides picanha, salmon with passion fruit sauce, drinks & sweets in a casual setting. The children’s playground has toys that are kept in a little house on the outside of the place.

5. Rancho do Cupim Salvador

Rancho do Cupim is famous for serving special meats on the grill, in addition to appetizers, side dishes and desserts. The restaurant has an open buffet lunch from Monday to Saturday and all-you-can-eat pizza every day.

The place is a steakhouse with portions of picanha (rump cap), chorizo, lamb carré and, of course, cupim (hump steak). 7. Bargaço

The Bargaço restaurant was inaugurated in 1971 and began what would be the landmark of Bahian food and seafood in Brazil. 9. Mundo Animal Lanchonete Temática (Animal World Themed Snack Bar)

A hamburger, fries and a dance with the lion! Mundo Animal, a network of themed snack bars, is a great option for those who want to have an interactive snack with the kids. The dishes on the menu are named after animals, such as elephant, rhinoceros, and of course, the lion – which is the space’s mascot.

One of the most desired specialties of the snack bar is the potato tower, known as batatão, consisting of french fries accompanied by different meats, fillings and various sauces served on a thermal plate. It’s for eating, having fun and interacting with the characters of the jungle, who are circulating in a space of more than 1,000 m².

10. Parque da Cidade

11. Parque dos Dinossauros

The city hall of the Bahian capital began the green phase of the “Plano Salvador” for the resumption of economic activities, and since July 23, the city’s bars and restaurants began operating until 12:30 am. Remember that the use of a face mask and hand sanitizer are still necessary to avoid Covid-19 contamination. You can only remove the mask when eating or drinking. If you need to walk around the bar, wear a mask.
