A privileged environment overlooking the All Saints Bay, delicious food, good service, air-conditioned space and balcony. Do you miss something? It is impossible. M’AR Gastronomia presents contemporary cuisine and has been disputed by the Soteropolitan public that appreciate well-being and hospitality. The restaurant is headed by Jel Queiroz (also a partner in Soho and Boucherrie), his son Lucas Queiroz and Peu Mesquita – a Bahian chef trained by the Italian Culinary Institute in Piemonte, who signs the menu.

If you were looking for a place to relax, enjoy the breeze and have a calm chat, you just found it. Located in the Bahia Marina, a safe and pleasant place, the restaurant provides the ideal environment to live a sensory experience with colors, smells, sounds and flavors.

Speaking of flavors, the tip is clear: take advantage of what the sea has to offer, such as the shrimp or lobster sandwich. The first, served with a green apple mayonnaise, is nothing less than perfect. The second, the darling of the menu, with homemade brioche, is also wonderful, but not always available. The reason is just! The house works with a seasonal menu, respecting the period of closure and reproduction of animals. The Chef makes a point of knowing where all the products come from, he knows the producers and prioritizes the local suppliers.

“The great differential of the restaurant is the attention to the customer, the quality of the service and the valorization of local products. We will offer the freshest possible ingredients”, says the chef, who has been building his career in the gastronomy universe through experiences acquired in renowned restaurants such as Lafayette, Amado and Manga, in Salvador, D.O.M. (SP) and Piazza Duomo, in Italy.

Prefer dishes made to share, so you and your friends will be able to try the most diverse flavors, choosing more than one menu option. It is always good to ask what the news are because, depending on the inspiration of Chef Peu Mesquita, wonderful new creations can appear and disappear from the menu in the blink of an eye! The restaurant has the presence of a sommelier, José Ost, to serve customers who prefer the wine list. That’s why M’AR is very popular with people who like to combine the meal with a good wine.

The same goes for drinks. We tried an exclusive and very well presented creation made with orange, lemon soda, green apple syrup, kiwi and passion fruit. This is the type of drink that deserves a photo at sunset. You enjoyed it, didn’t you? So we’ll give some tips. Try Basil Smash, with basil, lemon juice, gin and a slice of dehydrated lemon, super-refreshing. If you prefer the traditional, order a Cosmopolitan and you will not regret it.

Having the All Saints Bay as a source of inspiration in both dishes and decoration, M’ar has also been sought-after by many people who are betting on a place for closed gatherings.
