Gastronomic and diverse space in Rio Vermelho

Drinks, hamburgers, pizza, clothes, plants and tobacconist items are just some of the things you can find at the Vila 14 Gallery, located in Rio Vermelho, the most bohemian neighborhood in Salvador. The place’s products are diverse and range from fishmongers, confectioneries and opticians to beauty salons, tattoo studios, law firms and embroidery shops. It is a charming, colorful place, full of options.
The idea of the establishment is precisely this: to bring varied options in one place. And of course, the Gallery doesn’t stop. The movement there is great, mainly because it is located in one of the most famous neighborhoods of the capital. The place opens every day at 7 am and closes at 11 pm.
One of the establishments in Vila 14 Gallery is Leo Cintra Cozinha, opened in 2019, which has an ancestral cuisine footprint. “Here it is very popular, many people come to Vila, especially in the late afternoon, for the ‘De Além Mar’ restaurant. At night, in addition to my establishment, there is also a demand for pizza and Japanese food”, explains chef Leo Cintra.
In Vila, each establishment has its opening hours and each one has its social network. One of the most famous stores in the space is the De Além Mar restaurant, mentioned by Leo Cintra. Known as a charming little piece of Portugal in the heart of Salvador, the restaurant sells typical Portuguese products in a super cozy atmosphere.
On the menu, De Além Mar has sweets, such as “pastel de nata” and “bombocado”, pies with different flavors, sandwiches, snacks and, of course, drinks. With the delights of Portugal, the establishment opens every day from 12 pm to 7 pm.
Leaving the food area, “Cactos do Sertão, Plantaria Urbana Descomplicada” also has a small shop in the gallery. There, in addition to cacti, you will find other plants and decorative items. The store is open from Tuesday to Friday, from 1:30 pm to 6 pm, and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
It is also worth mentioning the presence of “Villa Piazza”, famous in the Gallery. The property is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 5 pm to 11 pm. The flavors are varied – tuna, pepperoni, carbonara, maria bonita – and there are medium and large sizes. Values range from R$52 to R$77.
