Calm and warm waters make the swim in the sea at Porto worldwide known
Porto da Barra is one of Bahia’s tourist attractions, with several hotels, bars and restaurants. Treasure of the locals and tourists, it seems to have waters that embrace you in each dive! After the travelogue editor of the British newspaper The Guardian pointed out Porto da Barra as one of the best beaches in the world, it seems that the point has become even more enjoyable! Thanks sweet! (laughs). And it’s deserved! The crystal clear waters are an invitation to miss track of time having fun there.
In addition to water sports classes, there are also the Photography Museum and Carybé Space, one on each side of the seashore: one in the Santa Maria Fort; and the other in San Diogo. Don’t forget to enjoy the sunset: it’s surreal!!! Then walk to Barra Lighthouse. The coast is superb and all revitalized. Enjoy Porto da Barra, then go to Barra Lighthouse and walk to the Christ. You can rent a bike and go cycling, or if you are more sportsman, go running. It’s beautiful!
