Clothes and accessories that inspire femininity and lightness
Created in 2011 by Camila Schreiber, BOAH is a Bahian brand, with 100% local production and a team formed by 99% women. Today, there are already 3 physical stores in Salvador, one in Villas do Atlântico and an online store. In its collections, there are gowns, blouses, shoes, overalls, skirts, dresses, all with light fabrics and exclusive prints. The brand presents a fashion that is always on the rise, with pieces that are practically timeless, that don’t fall into disuse, and you can wear them all year round.
The pieces have a unique Boho style. The clothes follow this concept, made with light and natural fabrics, making use of beautiful compositions of overlapping pieces, plain and printed, as well as accessories with the same Boho-Chic vibe. They represent a state of mind, a sensitive look at life, the femininity of the visual and even a romantic air. In addition to the beautiful pieces, the brand uses sustainable practices in the production process, choosing natural fibers, and doesn’t work with polyester or synthetic fiber, being always attentive to the dyeing process of the materials.
“We want to inspire more lightness in the world. We are lovers of the sun and the moon, moved by nature and by everything that makes our soul vibrate with joy. Here, only good comes in, only good stays”, says a part of the brand’s manifesto.
In its networks it says that “looking inside, putting love in what you do and dressing your soul with good energy”, was the spirit in which BOAH was born and continues today. In addition to the physical stores and the online store, there is the atelier, where the entire production and creation process takes place. There, a real “BOAH family” was built. On the brand’s Instagram, in the tab [atelier] in the highlights, it is possible to follow the work and see the people who make the clothes. The brand creators believe that the whole process is important and that this is the added value: the feeling of love in each piece made.
For those who want to know more, it is also worth watching the YouTube channel, “Sinta-se bem”, with Olga Goulart, episode “Vista sua alma | Moda consciente com Camila Schreiber da BOAH #15 (Dress your soul | Fashion conscious with Camila Schreiber from BOAH # 15)”. In the video, Camila and Olga talk about how it all started, and there’s also a visit to the studio where they talk about sustainability in fashion.
To complete the experience, BOAH stores translate the brand’s style: light, harmonious and beautiful. The use of white color, combined with natural materials such as plants, dry branches, crystals and stones, makes the perfect connection with the Boho mood. The rustic rugs and straw chairs bring the feeling of well-being that the brand radiates.
