History and Culture
The Goethe-Institut Salvador Bahia is one of the five ones in Brazil that organizes and supports a wide spectrum of cultural events, aiming for the presentation of German culture abroad and intercultural exchange. In addition to the linguistic work, the place has a theater that houses an interesting cultural program, a charming café with German menu and an inviting and cozy patio where several workshops happen. Cultural agitators, artists from different areas and many foreigners frequent the institute, which allows a lot of information exchange.
