Spanish food, in the most bohemian neighborhood of the city
Just walk through the front door and your experience of that night has begun. The smiles of those who welcome you, the warmth and attention give the feeling of belonging to the restaurant. Going to La Taperia is like going to dinner at a friend’s house, where you feel comfortable and you know it’s going to be fun and lively. It may be the low light, good music and memories of Spain hanging on the walls, but the truth is that you´ll want to taste all the drinks and food on the menu, because while the dishes are served, chef José Morchon walks around the room giving all the attention and explanation of the ingredients and curiosities of the preparation. If you’re starving or just a little hungry, the restaurant offers many options. The octopus with potatoes and paprika is surreal and, to accompany it, a Sangria de Cava. A delight!
