For those who want to celebrate love all year round

This is an itinerary for those looking for unique, romantic, unforgettable and, why not, instagrammable experiences! For a couple that loves a good program and good pictures.

Your day deserves to start in a special way. It is already a Sunday tradition to have breakfast on the terrace of the Manga restaurant. All breads, charcuterie and sweets are made in-house. Free-range eggs, Brazilian cheeses and other delicacies complete the menu with à la carte options and combos. But stay tuned: for breakfast, the house does not take reservations. It works on a first-come, first-served basis.

Then, take an art tour at Alban Galeria, in Ondina, and see the exhibition “Estrelas flamejantes em manhã de sol” (Flaming stars in sunny morning), the first exhibition by Bahian artist Tiago Sant’Ana. The title was inspired by a 1960s text by the American writer James Baldwin, in which he weaves a comparison between the social mobility of the black diaspora man and celestial elements. There are more than 20 unpublished works specially produced for the exhibition having this starting point. The artist traces a metaphor in which sky, moon, light and shadow give visuality to a set of works in which black masculinity assumes a central position.

Now, head towards Rua Chile, but first, make a stop on the way for a beautiful view of the All Saints Bay, the perfect place to give that surprise gift to your sweetheart, or make the official proposal. The Wildberger Lookout is right next to the Church of Nossa Senhora da Vitória, in Corredor da Vitória. In addition to the view, a large tree is responsible for the generous shade available for those who want to stay for a while. In love couples will love to register the moment sitting on the wooden bench right next to this tree.

Inside the fabulous Fera Palace Hotel is the Omí restaurant, by the award-winning duo of Bahian chefs Fabrício Lemos and Lisiane Arouca, responsible for the Ori, Origem and Minibar Gem restaurants. Originating in Yoruba vocabulary, the word Omí means “water” and refers to the meaning of fecundity. In addition to the maritime concept, most of the ingredients used for the dishes originate from the All Saints Bay, where the main suppliers are located. As its name suggests, the flagships are seafood and fish, but meat and options for vegetarians and vegans are also served. To prepare the dishes, Mediterranean cuisine techniques are applied, a specialty of the chefs.
